Welcome to FuseSmart Electric. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") outline the rules and expectations for using our services, communicating with us, and visiting our website. By contacting us, using our website, or hiring our services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Services Provided
FuseSmart Electric provides residential and commercial electrical services throughout Calgary and surrounding areas. This includes but is not limited to:
Electrical repairs, installations, upgrades, and inspections
Free estimates and on-site consultations
24/7 emergency electrical services
All work is performed by qualified electricians and meets current building and electrical codes.
2. Estimates, Pricing & Payment
We offer free, no-obligation estimates before any work begins.
Prices are provided up front based on a task-based pricing model.
A dispatch fee is only charged if work is performed. If no work is completed during a visit, no fee applies.
All invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept various payment methods including credit card and e-transfer.
Additional work not included in the original estimate must be approved by the client and may incur extra charges.
3. Cancellations & Scheduling
Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled with reasonable notice.
For same-day cancellations or rescheduling, we ask that you call or text us directly at (587) 853-5752.
Emergency services are available 24/7, but response times may vary depending on technician availability.
4. SMS Communication & Consent
By submitting your phone number through our contact forms, text message, or during a service call, you consent to receive SMS communications related to:
Appointment confirmations and scheduling
Job status updates and technician arrival times
Emergency service responses or follow-ups
You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us directly. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier.
We will never send marketing messages via SMS without your explicit opt-in.
FuseSmart Electric Ltd. sends text message updates and responses to customers about pricing and products offered at https://www.fusesmartelectric.ca/.
When you opt-in to the service, we may send you a message to confirm your signup. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Text "HELP" for help. Text "STOP" to cancel. You can cancel this service at any time. After you send the message "STOP" to us, we will reply to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending you messages again.
If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text "HELP". After you send the message "HELP" to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service and how to unsubscribe.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Warranty
All electrical work completed by FuseSmart Electric is covered by a 3-year parts and labour warranty, unless otherwise stated in writing. This warranty:
Covers defects in workmanship or materials supplied by us
Does not apply to misuse, customer-supplied materials, or work altered by third parties
Requires that warranty issues be reported to us in a timely manner
Please retain your invoice as proof of service for any warranty claims.
6. Use of Website
You agree not to use our website or content for any unlawful, misleading, or unauthorized purposes. Content on this website is owned by FuseSmart Electric and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without written permission.
7. Liability
FuseSmart Electric is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from service delays, unexpected electrical issues, or force majeure events beyond our control (e.g., weather, power outages, supplier delays).
Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
